SCAA Member and Welcome Art Supporters meeting for our Artists’ Opportunities Workshop

Join us for a special SCAA Member Meeting with an invitation and welcome to Art enthusiasts on Saturday, January 17 at 10 am in the Patricia Vaughn Cultural Arts Center at 4181 Atlanta St., Powder Springs, GA 30127, between the Ford Center and Powder Springs Library locations.

Event will begin with meet and greet at designated information stations manned by SCAA volunteers with information on membership, volunteering, art class sign up, art instructor applications, art exhibit opportunities and exhibit details.

Agenda topics will include:

• Updates about the organization and Board and Committee Chair openings
• Details for volunteers, artists, student artists, interns and community involvement as well as community service credit options
• 54th anniversary year opportunities for exhibiting your art at various venues
• Art at the Avenue Juried Exhibit
• Art competition for Middle-High School Students at Art at the Avenue event this summer
• Options for blending performing arts during SCAA events throughout the year
• 5K, Plein Air, Art Vendors, and Performances at the Fall Festival event
• Artisan or Holiday Markets, Tea Room, and other fine arts and crafts options
• Art Classes at multiple locations
• Tour of the Powder Springs complex comprising the Patricia Vaughn Cultural Art Center, Ford Center, and classrooms to be utilized for the arts.
