A Nature and Landscape Photography Exhibition

250 Years of Art and counting… Celebrating artwork in America with the theme for this Juried Photography Exhibit featuring the beauty of Nature and Landscape.

Juried Photography Exhibit now open at The Gallery at Powder Springs City Hall, Powder Springs, Ga.

Reception and awards on September 26 from 2-4 at the Gallery in City Hall with award certificates of $150, $100, and $50 from Digital Arts Studio, with certificates to be redeemed in person at their retail location.

Public display at City Hall Gallery on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 am until 4 pm unless space is reserved. City may be contacted as to details on hours of public access. Art exhibit event closes January 8. Directions to parking and please use entrance from the back parking lot of City Hall.

What A Wonderful World: Photography Art Exhibition

What a Wonderful World: SCAA Photography Art Exhibit with artwork by Spears McAllester begins October 3 at North Cobb Regional Library until January 9, 2027.

Not just any Photography Exhibit, but one garnered by an new appreciation of the subtle beauty of light, and a passion to capture and share images of our wonderful natural world with others. His artistic hope is that these images give voice to the beauty of nature and allow the viewer to appreciate and discover more of the world around them.

A note from the artist: “I have been an enthusiastic hiker, backpacker and admirer of the natural world as a source of balance in our often hectic lives since I was a teenager. A camera has been a standard part of my hiking and backpacking equipment for over 35 years but until 2011, was used more for personal “documentation” of my trips to beautiful places such as the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Sierras and the Swiss “HauteRoute”, than for serious photography. I decided to pursue fine art digital landscape photography after a 2010 trip to Torres Del Paine in Chile…”

Celebrate his award winning landscape and nature photography art journey, and learn more of his career from Biomedical Engineering to a fine art photographer. Reception and artist discussion about photography elements, details on techniques and more scheduled for December 5 from 3-5pm at the North Cobb Regional Library.
