For those of you who are familiar with us, you know that the best way to get the most detailed and up to date SCAA information is by visiting our website at https://southcobbarts.org/… but now we have something new in the works that we think you’ll really like!

The South Cobb Arts Alliance has been busily working behind the scenes recently to develop our new annual newsletter concept called “Artistic Connections!”. In this informative and entertaining bi-monthly publication we will provide you with noteworthy news regarding SCAA business, upcoming events and exhibitions and you’ll get the inside track on community happenings and artistic opportunities. In our “Artist Spotlight” section you will have the opportunity to meet a featured SCAA Artist, as well as a section where our Artist Members can share their upcoming shows and events with our readers! Want to get involved with our organization but you’re not sure where to start? Just take a look at our “Help Wanted” section where we will list available volunteer opportunities and open committee positions!

With this new endeavor, we hope to not only entertain and inform, but also to connect with our readers and include them on our artistic journey… so please consider joining us! To begin receiving “Artistic Connections!” simply click on the “Join Our Mailing List” button at the bottom of our home page and submit your info.

If you are looking for additional ways to stay informed, please consider our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter sites! These provide quick info regarding SCAA events and happenings and are updated several times a week. We also use these social media accounts to promote our Artist Members by sharing their latest works and upcoming shows. We warmly invite those who are simply following these sites to join us as members!

Around here, we like to share. We also like to hear from our members, so expect to see blogs, not only from our board and Committees, but from some very special member “Guest Bloggers” as well!

Cheers!!

SCAA artist Miles Davis installs a painting from his new series of artworks “1000 Words” at the South Cobb Regional Library in Mableton. The ten colorful and imaginative new original paintings share the common theme of the power and importance of reading books.
