Since 1960, the Georgia Ballet has provided the community with exceptional dance performances, unparalleled dance training for all ages, and meaningful educational outreach programming in our local schools.
Combining dance and visual art- a blend of excitement – as the Georgia Ballet joins the South Cobb Arts Alliance during its annual National Juried Exhibit. SCAA is privileged to have the Georgia Ballet as an Arts Collaborative Partner celebrating our 50th Anniversary presenting our annual National Juried Art Exhibit with a free sneak peek performance of “Peter Pan” on September 17th beginning at 11am at the Avenue of West Cobb, “ART AT THE AVENUE”.
The Georgia Ballet has played a vital role in enriching lives in the community through its “Arts in Education” community outreach programs. Their programs serve the community by providing valuable arts experiences and quality dance training to children and families of all ages, abilities, and socio-economic levels. Each of their programs strives to enlighten and educate children on the beauty and benefits of dance. These programs cultivate a love for the arts while encouraging creative thinking, problem-solving, athleticism, and healthy lifestyles.
Join SCAA at the Avenue of West Cobb as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary and our annual National Juried Art Exhibit with 150 pieces of art on display. As a free event, there are no seating reservations as available space is limited on a first come first served basis. For more information, visit southcobbarts.org.
