Wilderness Photography Foundation Exhibit:  August 12 to October 1, 2023

Nature’s Generosity Photography Exhibition, a 2023-24 southeast traveling exhibit by the Wilderness Photography Foundation,  will be at the North Cobb Regional Library from August 12 to October 1.  Welcome to a remarkable exhibit featuring top photographers across the United States and featuring outstanding images of Nature’s Generosity for all of us to see.

The wilderness is truly defined within the adage “in the eyes of the beholder,“ interpreted by artists, poets, children, politicians, environmentalists, and more.   But only the photographer can capture the wilderness through the camera’s lens within a special moment of time, as the camera immobilizes the image, and shows the beauty, flaws, and wonders of the wilderness.

This exhibit is a collaboration between SCAA and the Wilderness Photography Foundation. SCAA was honored to be a part of the original group’s conversations beginnings with SCAA member artist, Mike Ramy, in featuring such an exhibit as the Nature’s Generosity Photography Exhibition.  Created by top-tier fine art nature photographers the exhibit showcases the beauty and diversity of nature, plant and animal life surrounding us and in faraway places.

Reception on August 19 from 2-4pm with Whitefield Academy Jazz Band opening the program.  Light refreshments will be served.
