SCAA Staff

SCAA’s The Gallery at Powder Springs is hosting the Ehecatl Art Exhibit of Kim R. Meacham through November 30th. This outstanding exhibit displays at the our satellite gallery located in the municipal building at 4488 Pineview Drive in downtown Powder Springs. Admission is free.

About Kim: She spent her childhood immersed in reading and curiously watching the world around her. From the ebb and flow of people, to the wisdom of ancient trees and soaring mountains, to the expanse of the ocean and star filled skies, all these things influenced her perspective and art. Her paintings honor our relationships with the seen and unseen and celebrate the communities where we live and grow while serving others.

Kim began painting in 2003 and follow the Ehecatl Art process to create my paintings. Ehecatl Art was developed by Vision Bear and is an organic, cooperative process based on balance and integration. Ehecatl is a Nahuatl word that means “Spirit, or that which moves but cannot be seen.” Painting following the Ehecatl Art process deepens and extends Kim’s meditation practice as part of a wholistic approach to life and living.
