Essence of Nature : an exhibit by Rene Bernhardt

SCAA Staff

Landscapes are places you recognize, dream of visiting, imagine with all the details as if you are seeing in the horizon that one place you feel at home, want to visit, or find a connection.   So welcome to the Essence of Nature where landscapes abound.  The Brush and Pallette Artwork of Rene Bernhardt will be on Exhibit from now until October 29.  Be sure to come to the reception to meet and greet the artist to discover what inspires her artwork.

Reception 5-7pm on Sept 16 at 4488 Pineview Drive, Powder Springs Community Development Building.

A note from Irene “Rene” Bernhardt:  My greatest source of inspiration is the world around us.  I love mountains because they allow me to appreciate nature’s grandeur; beaches renew and revive my spirit, and gardens allow me to study the many variations of color.  Painting, for me, is the challenge of translating the beauty of nature into images on canvas.

As a child I loved to draw with attention to detail.  Though detail is still important, I now prefer a looser approach while maintaining a realistic look.

Painting is a way to express feelings.  My hope is that when you look at my art it will evoke positive and happy emotions.

Come see ESSENCE OF NATURE, a free event.  Public Art at its Best.
