Engaging Artwork at The Gallery

SCAA Staff

Welcome to the Die Williams’ artwork exhibit now and extended until the end of December at The Gallery in Powder Springs.

Die began painting after retiring from a major airline. She considers herself to be a primitive folk artist. She is self taught and attended a few workshops working on her craft.

As a flight attendant and world traveler, she has seen art through the eyes of many. The art series that she offers reveal the journey of her soul.  She enjoys the snapshots of many cultures from her travels and childhood memories of country life.  She watched her grandfather work his farm in Arkansas. She also has fond memories of family members fishing from the banks of the Arkansas River. All this inspiration has led her to paint a variety of subjects.

Creating art is a spiritual process unique to each individual. Engaging the viewer into her world invokes emotions and enrich the lives of others through her vision. That is the goal of Die Ann Williams.

Reception at The Gallery in Powder Springs scheduled for November 19 from 5 to 7pm and open to the public.
