Children’s Book Reading to celebrate Nature’s Generosity Art Exhibit

Blending the Arts:  Nature Photography and Children’s Book Reading Activities: 

Events for Children to connect Reading about bears, bees, and garden walks to the current Nature’s Generosity Exhibit on artwork of 90 wildlife photography pieces from 45 national photographers on display until October 1, 2023.  Registration required at North Cobb Regional Library for two of the three Children activities; see link below for information.

SCAA is honored to have the North Cobb Regional Library host these 3 Local Authors Exhibition as a part of the current Nature’s Generosity Traveling Photography Exhibition currently on display at the North Cobb Library. Partners for this special event include Cobb Library Foundation, South Cobb Arts Alliance, Wilderness Photography Foundation, and Marietta Woman’s Club.

September 21 to October 6,  local authors Merissa and Miles DavisButterpup and the Great Garden Race book series in partnership with the Marietta Woman’s Club is featured in the Library’s Garden as an outdoor reading Garden Walk event.

September 25 from 1-1:45 with  local author Anna DeStefano who will be reading from her book Baby Bear’s GREAT Day. Activities and snacks will be provided. Recommended for preK and early elementary. Register for this book reading at this North Cobb Regional Library link.

September 25 from 2-2:45 with local author Joanne Telcide-Bryant who will be reading from her book I’m Just Dying to Be Queen Bee. Activities and snacks will be provided. Recommended for elementary and middle grades. Register for this book reading at this North Cobb Regional Library link.
