A brief note about our two SCAA Artists:

CAROLYN GRADY is a self taught photographer who has always loved the Arts. Through her business, Rhythmic Images Photography, she showcases this love of live music and photography.  “Preserving moments in time and capturing the essence of everyday life are two ways in which I approach photography. I am a storyteller. To me, the thrill is anticipating the second before the moment happens.  My photos are engulfed with the raw, unsuppressed energy delivered by live performance artists. Through my photography I attempt to draw forth an emotional connection and I want viewers to feel as if they are reliving those moments.”

BIRDLEY JAMES started a career in the graphic arts industry which has spanned across 26 years. In 2011, he picked up a camera for the first time and was instantly hooked. He now pursues his passion of photography at his Austell based studio, Tri 8 Media. His clientele includes musical artist, actors, models and anyone with a dream.  “People are true art in motion.  I am constantly trying to find the perfect balance between bold color and tonality all the time maintaining an organic connection with the subject.  Filling the frame is key.  It makes the moment feel much bigger and more iconic, like a frozen moment from another era.  The experience created is one of a lifetime.”
