POP UP SCAA Holiday Market at the Avenue

Event open to public December 12-14 (Friday 10-5/Saturday 10-6/Sunday noon-5)

JOIN US AS A VENDOR FOR THIS POP UP HOLIDAY EVENT at Avenue West Cobb

You know and love the location known for SCAA’s annual Art at the Avenue competition.  So why not be one of our local artists to join us for this 3 day holiday pop up featuring your art, crafts and everything holiday-ish, everyday or your unique art available for sale.  Special pop up pricing to introduce this new event in a familiar space of 10,500 square feet.  This is a fundraising event for SCAA projects.

ARTIST CALL for this unique pop up with 2 options – table space and exhibiting 2d artwork.  Registration online options at end of this post. Enter as one entry and proceed thru data base event questions.

  1. Fee for stand alone table area space. Artists/vendors supply their own table, chairs, linens (black, white, green, or red) as well as your own point of sale system. (Wall use can be for display units, but venue walls cannot be used to secure any items to the wall as hanging art is a separate part of the venue.) Agreement artisan market requirements for vendor tables listed online.  Install will be that Wednesday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and additionally on Thursday, December 11 from 9am to 2pm.
  2.  2D fine art entries will be placed in the performing area space with all artwork for sale.   Limited entry of one piece.  Agreement for 2D art requires a separate install date. Install date for artwork for walls on Tuesday, December 9 from noon to 5pm.  Artwork on walls must be preset prior to vendors setting up table space.

ARTIST CALL OPPORTUNITIES

STEP 1:  Read Artist Agreements.  Read agreements before beginning processes. Two distinct and separate agreements/requirement documents. On-line registrations and payment information is at the end of this post. Registration online and participating in event confirms acceptance of SCAA terms and conditions as to event.  Required photograph of products used in judging for acceptance of entry with and acknowledgement of entry as soon as volunteers evaluate the applications.  Please print out signature pages for event set up day.

STEP 2: Fees and Deadlines  Entry fees are nonrefundable.  SCAA Membership, which begins at $20 for an individual, allows vendors and artists to enter at a discounted entry fee. Valid SCAA discount is dependent upon membership which must be confirmed and listed as valid/active through the end of the event in December.  Juried acceptance on discounted memberships may be delayed until membership and payment(s) are confirmed.

$35 for SCAA Members; $55 for non-SCAA Members/TABLE SPACE

FINE ART EXHIBIT ENTRY no cost for SCAA Members; $25 for non-SCAA Members

STEP 3:  Register with on-line registration below.  Remember that this information is applicable to the juried process.

Using the categories list for the Table Space registration requires more information to complete the details to allow SCAA volunteers to understand your product and process.

Information as to the Fine Artworks for sale will only include you completing the contact information, uploaded image of your artwork, title and pricing of art piece.

If you are having any difficulty loading images, note that photo images should be high-resolution jpeg images of at least 300dpi.  An image too large may not upload and may need to be resized.  Registration photos on-line are required and contact SCAA volunteers if you have any questions.

STEP 4:  Payment. Process your payment which includes credit and debit cards including PayPal.  Select your payment option to complete the registration.  Pending payment or incomplete registration status will not be included in the judging process.  Note that on-line registrations may not be totally reflected in the total on-line data as the total number of artists.

Afterall, it’s THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR to especially showcase original, handmade fine arts and crafts by a distinguished group of accomplished artisans and artist vendors.

SCAA is an all volunteer supported arts nonprofit organization. and funding from this event goes to our outreach projects.
