More about our artists:

Rebecca Brown is an artist and art educator whose paintings are inspired by her love of abstract art, architectural elements, city life, and nature. She incorporates lines in contrast with color and texture to create illusions of space and depth to represent cityscapes and natural forms. Rebecca’s photographs are also focused on city life and were taken on her travels to San Francisco, Miami, and Boston. Her work has been shown at The Metro Montage juried show at the Cobb Marietta Museum of Art in 2017 and 2018, at the National Art Education Association Headquarters in Virginia, and the Taylor-Brawner Park With Art Show in Smyrna and is a committee member for the show.

Debbie Childree is a visual artist and art teacher whose passion and talent has led her to work in many different artistic mediums. Her recent paintings, inspired by a love of carved ivory and cameos, are created to evoke feelings of nostalgia through texture and layering. Many of Debbie’s photographs are taken from her travels to Panama. She is currently working on Apperception, a multi-sensorial project that was awarded a grant from Whitefield Academy. Her paintings and photographs have been exhibited at venues including Quinlan Visual Arts Center, So-Glo Gallery,  and the Taylor-Brawner Park with Art Show.

Natalia Hicks is an artist and art educator. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Natalia has a deep understanding for European culture, which is evident in her personal painting style inspired by realistic artworks by old masters. Natalia loves to use this approach to capture the beauty of her European adventures. She loves to capture light and create contrast in her paintings.

Be sure to stroll through The Gallery at Powder Springs to see a wide variety of art and mediums.
