EMERGING ARTISTS Exhibit

Always amazing to see the talent and expression in the art of students. Creativity has no age barrier.  Take the time to celebrate art educators and visit the exhibit at Rooted Trading Co. on exhibit until January 4, 2022.  (Exhibit has been extended until 2022.)

SCAA presents Emerging Artists Exhibit of McEachern High School art students, 2020-21.

As there was the pause in so many events last year, these students were unable to do a public exhibit of their work. Usually is the word here – as usually these students and more would have had an annual exhibit, reception and meet and greet the community and local artists. You would be talking to the students, their art educators and to all those who support art education.

See their solo pieces on exhibit at Rooted Trading Co. Thanks to art educator Danielle Walker for keeping art a focus in the classroom.

Many McEachern AP Studio Art alumni continue on to pursue art degrees in college including: the Savannah College of Art and Design, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, The University of Georgia, Rhode Island School of Art and Design, The Art Institute of Atlanta, and Pratt Institute and have majors in Animation, Film, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Scientific Illustration, and Industrial Design.

SCAA is privileged to continue its outreach and work with local schools and art educators.

Supporting art education at every level is important to the community.
